This year's Wantoks & Wine event is soaring to new heights!

Wantok: A person with whom one has a strong social bond; clan, language group, kin, relation, personal connection.

Join us for KTF's fundraising event of the year, Wantoks & Wine, at Sydney's most exclusive view. Quay Quarter Tower - local landmark and global icon - boasts incredible panoramic views spanning from the Harbour Bridge across the breathtaking Sydney skyline. Take in the vista while celebrating the life-changing impact of KTF’s work.

Generously subsidised by a donor, tickets to this premier event are just $40, including canapés, beer, wine and soft drinks. We invite all our Wantoks to join us for a night of wine, stunning views and engaging conversations - all for charity, of course!

Your presence will help us to deliver life-changing education, health and equality programs - transforming the lives, livelihoods and futures of thousands of people each year in Papua New Guinea.

Why attend?

Despite only 3.6 km separating Papua New Guinea's shores from Australia, no greater disparity exists than between our two countries.

By attending you'll support holistic, sustainable and tangible development in rural and remote communities in Papua New Guinea. With a focus on community-driven, locally supported initiatives, KTF has helped hundreds of thousands of people access the education pathways, and primary health care and protect our community's most vulnerable.

Learn a little bit about KTF's flagship education, health and equality programs below.

Second-chance secondary education pathways

Every student deserves access to quality education, no matter what financial, geographical or social barriers they face. KTF's 14 Flexible Open Distance Education (FODE) colleges across PNG alleviate common challenges and give students a second chance at completing their high school education.

Accessible and high-quality primary health care

Health is a fundamental human right, this is why KTF's Healthy Communities supports the postings and salaries, medical resourcing and infrastructure of community health workers across 14 remote aid posts in the Kokoda region - providing life-saving primary healthcare to a catchment population of 108,000.

Keeping women and children safe

KTF is committed to creating safer communities for everyone. Project Zero delivers targeted gender-based violence prevention and response initiatives, including operating Oro Province's only safe house, providing holistic survivor support, supporting extensive community awareness-raising activities and capacity building of local frontline workers.

Can't make it?

No problems! You can still make a difference with a small donation today.

For more than 20 years, KTF has worked alongside people and communities to improve the lives, livelihoods and futures of Papua New Guineans.

We do this by: assisting remote and rural communities with access to early childhood, primary, secondary and tertiary education; improving access to quality and accessible healthcare; improving opportunities for and the safety of women; and by fostering the next generation of leaders.

Our inspiration is to keep the spirit of Kokoda alive.
